Job Overview: Working with our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Toolmaker to join their team. Benefits: * 33 days annual leave, including a shutdown at Christmas * Company sick pay up to 24 years (increasing with years of service) * All PPE provided, including safety shoes Remit: * As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the repair and service of injection moulding machine tools and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner. * The successful candidate will be time served and MUST HAVE experience in repairing and maintaining injection mould tools. Responsibilities: * Build, repair and maintain tooling * Work to fine tolerances. * Prove tooling and troubleshoot until running acceptably – target to enable the tools to run \”right first-time\” in a production environment * Liaise with operational staff to understand tooling related issues * Maintenance of machinery on site. * General tool making tasks * To be flexible in a “breakdown” scenario. * To work in safe manner and ensure that others also work in a safe manner. * Working in line with all company safety rules. * To comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times and promote good working practices throughout the workforce. * To carry out all reasonable requests from the management and supervision team.
