Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a skilled Injection Moulding Supervisor to join their established team in support of continued business growth.

Remit:
- This position will suit an experienced Injection Moulding Supervisor/Technician looking to further develop their leadership skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- The successful candidate will have previous experience leading teams within an injection moulding operation, ensuring production, quality, and health & safety standards are consistently achieved.
- Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience setting, conditioning, optimising, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines and processes.

Role:
- The successful candidate will supervise the end-to-end injection moulding manufacturing process in line with company policies and procedures.
- You will be required to lead shop floor activities relating to Health & Safety, Quality, Production, and housekeeping standards.
- You will support setters and operators with process optimisation, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and production priorities to maintain plan adherence.
- You will be expected to investigate root cause of quality concerns, scrap, downtime, and H&S incidents, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Drive KPI improvements including cycle times, rejects, downtime reduction, SMED, 5S, and overall machine efficiency.
- Ensure all process documentation including setting sheets, work instructions, and quality records are maintained and updated correctly.
- Train, mentor, and develop operators and setters to ensure compliance with manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures.
- Manage shift handovers, labour allocation, and production planning to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience within an Injection Moulding Setter/Supervisor or Process Technician position.
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, tooling, process control, and quality standards.
- Experience leading teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and SMED.
- Good communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
