Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, has retained our services to search for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their team.

Role:
- The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business.
- As injection moulding setter it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products.
- To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team.
- As injection moulding setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trials.
- Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting.
- To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
Experience:
- Injection moulding setting experience.
- Recognised injection moulding qualification (preferable).
- Knowledge of materials such as PC, ABS, PA, PP, TPE etc.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane etc.).
- Self-motivated individual with a willingness to achieve KPI targets.
