Overview: Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, has retained our services to search for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their team. Benefits: * 30 days annual leave per annum * 5% Employer Pension Contribution (post 3-month postponement period) * Access to Medi Cash (Post successful probation) * 2 x Life Assurance (details included in the statement of particulars) * Employee Ownership (post 12-months service) Remit: * An excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer of components and assemblies servicing a wide range of industries. * Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills * This opportunity will suit an Injection Moulding Technician who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industry Role: * The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business * As injection moulding setter it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products * To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team * As injection moulding setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trials * Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting * To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to. * To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly * Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved. * To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
