Injection Moulding Setter

Overview: Working alongside our client, an established plastic injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter to join their team. Benefits: * Mon-Fri Days role * Overtime opportunities * Ongoing training and development Remit: * Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience in setting, conditioning and optimizing injection moulding machinery * This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join a forward-thinking company who place great importance on the training and development of their staff Role: * Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines according to production schedules. * Install mould tools, set machine parameters, and conduct first-off inspections. * Troubleshoot machine, tool, and material issues to minimize downtime. * Monitor production to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and moulds. * Work collaboratively with Quality, Toolroom, and Production teams. * Maintain accurate records of settings, tooling changes, and downtime. * Adhere to health & safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. * Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Experience Requirements: * Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter * Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Familiar with processing a variety of thermoplastics. * Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Experience with machines such as Negri Bossi, Borche, Krauss , or similar (desirable). * Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible reliable, and able to manage time effectively. * Good communication and reporting skills.
