CNC Machinist

Job Overview: Retained by our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer we are looking for a CNC Machinist join their team. Remit: * As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for the CNC machines and work load for tool making and plastic commodity second operations. * This role would suit a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer looking to work within a team who put their staff at the forefront of their business. * This is a day shift position offering clear opportunities for career progression and on-going training Role: * Use of CNC milling machines * Use of conventional toolroom machinery, surface grinders a benefit but not essential. * Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring components are manufactured to precise specifications. * Collaborate with the tooling team to troubleshoot and problem solve * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with company safety and housekeeping standards. Experience Requirements: * Engineering Qualification / Time Served Apprenticeship * CNC milling experience is essential (Heidenhain preferred) and working to general engineering tolerances * Enthusiastic, self-motivated, work on own initiative or within a small tooling team. * General understanding of how to safely operate toolroom equipment and machinery * Experience in interpreting engineering drawings both 2D and 3D * Computer literate with…
