Reporting to: Director of Care
The Registered Practical Nurse is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care according to policy, physician’s orders, resident care plans, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
- Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care using sound nursing principles.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment through teamwork and effective communication.
- Oversee resident care, communicate regularly with residents and families, and guide staff.
- Supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members.
- Manage admissions, readmissions, and changes in resident status, with ongoing assessments.
Qualifications:
- A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
- Good judgment, risk awareness, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
