Reporting to: Director of Care Role: The Registered Practical Nurse is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents. Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care using sound nursing principles. Create a welcoming and supportive environment through teamwork and effective communication. Oversee resident care, communicate regularly with residents and families, and guide staff. Supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members. Manage admissions, readmissions, and changes in resident status, with ongoing assessments. Qualifications: A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses. Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset. Good judgment, risk awareness, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
