The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Portfolio Lead to take ownership of the strategic alignment, governance, and delivery of a broad range of transformation projects. This is a pivotal role that blends portfolio leadership, process optimisation, and change management, with the opportunity to significantly impact the future direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities across technology, operations, and commercial functions.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and the PMO to drive prioritisation, resourcing, and value realisation across the transformation roadmap.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of project managers, fostering a high-performance delivery culture.
  • Likely to assume leadership of the PMO, enhancing project reporting, governance frameworks, and resource management practices.
  • Support continuous improvement in business processes, project execution, and change adoption across the organisation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Transformation and Change, contributing to strategic planning and portfolio evolution.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in portfolio or programme leadership roles, ideally within complex, multi-site or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, resource planning, and change delivery at scale.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering results across business and technology portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, acquisitive organisations is a strong advantage.
