We’re partnering with a fast-growing, PE backed B2B services group seeking a commercially minded Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting, and governance across the business as they embark on a period of considerable growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Group reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts
- Month-end and year-end close processes
- Audit, VAT, CIS, and treasury oversight
- Oversight of transactional finance and associated processes
- Finance transformation, controls, and process improvement
- Work closely with the CFO to strengthen financial discipline, drive improvements, and support ongoing growth and organisational change.
- Act as a deputy and right hand person to CFO.
Ideal background:
- Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller role
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with appropriate PQE
- Exposure to PE investors in a business of similar scale
- Strong technical accounting (consolidations, audit, statutory reporting)
- Multi-entity / group structure experience
- Track record of improving processes and leading teams
- Exposure to operational or service-led environments
