Partnered with an IT Services and Consulting business. The Global Head of Cloud Portfolio is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the global cloud services portfolio. This role drives the strategy, commercial positioning, and lifecycle management of cloud solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with market demand, customer outcomes, and company growth objectives.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in cloud technologies with strong commercial acumen and a proven background delivering and scaling solutions within large managed services environments. This leader will work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, alliances, and product teams to create differentiated cloud offerings and accelerate cloud-led revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the global strategy for cloud portfolio, covering public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud services.
- Drive the development of innovative cloud offerings aligned with market trends and customer transformation needs.
- Maintain a clear service roadmap and lifecycle management process for all cloud portfolio services.
- Ensure cloud services are commercially viable, scalable, and competitive.
- Work closely with sales leadership to enable cloud-driven revenue growth and support strategic deals.
- Develop pricing models, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for global markets.
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture, platforms, and technologies.
- Ensure solutions align with industry best practices across security, governance, automation, and scalability.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.
- Support large and complex managed services opportunities with cloud strategy and solution expertise.
- Collaborate with global sales teams to develop compelling cloud-led propositions.
- Act as an executive subject matter expert in strategic client engagements.
- Strengthen strategic partnerships with key hyperscalers (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google).
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and leverage partner programs to enhance the portfolio.
- Work closely with delivery, engineering, and operations teams to ensure services are deliverable and scalable globally.
- Align portfolio strategy with operational capabilities and customer success outcomes.
- Extensive experience in cloud services leadership, ideally within global IT services or managed services organizations.
- Strong knowledge of public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Proven ability to build and manage service portfolios in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated success supporting large managed services deals and enterprise transformations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategies and business case development.
- Experience working across global teams and markets.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
