Contract - Infrastructure Architect - PE backed - Regulated business - Scale up 6 months
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a major platform transformation, moving from a current Azure estate to a modern containerised environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern infrastructure architecture across Azure and container platforms.
- Design observability solutions using New Relic, Datadog, or similar tools, covering logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Lead disaster recovery and resilience design across application, database, and data layers, including backup and restore testing.
- Define environment topology, segregation, and operational support models.
- Drive ITIL-aligned service transition into BAU, including operational acceptance criteria, runbooks, and escalation processes.
Skills & Experience
- Proven Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Architect experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, or containerised platforms.
- Expertise in observability and monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of resilience, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Experience delivering service transition and ITIL-based support models.
