Join to apply for the Talent Operations Lead role at Siena. Siena is the first intelligence layer for customer experience. We are creating an operating system of AI agents that learn, remember, and act across every customer touchpoint—from support conversations to shopping experiences to voice and social media interactions. Siena doesn’t just automate support; it powers shopping agents, builds persistent customer memory, generates actionable business insights, and creates empathetic interactions that feel human. We’re transforming how businesses understand and connect with their customers, turning every interaction into intelligence that makes the next one better.
The team is a small, distributed group that punches way above our weight. Every person here has outsized impact because we’ve built leverage into everything we do. This philosophy makes us faster and, frankly, more fun to work with. If you’re excited about building something that doesn’t exist yet, keep reading. We’re building agents that don’t just respond to customers—they remember them, learn from every interaction, and connect experiences across channels.
You’ll be the face of Siena to candidates – which means deeply understanding our product, our mission to build the intelligence layer for commerce, and what makes us different from every other AI company out there. You’re not just filling roles. You’re finding the people who’ll build what customer experience becomes.
As Talent Operations Lead at Siena, you’ll own recruiting as we scale—closing great hires while building the systems that let us move faster.
What We’re Looking For- You close hard-to-fill roles and build processes as you go.
- You’ve scaled hiring at startups before.
- You already use AI tools to accelerate your work and have built automations to eliminate repetitive tasks.
- You understand that recruiting at this stage means being hands-on with candidate work while systematising in the background.
- You can run full-cycle recruiting and simultaneously document what works, build scorecards, optimise pipelines, and fix bottlenecks before they compound.
- 4-6 years in recruiting, talent operations, or people ops.
- At least 2 years in startup or high-growth environments.
- Track record of closing 30+ hires/year while improving processes.
- Experience with modern ATS platforms (Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse).
- AI-native mindset: you already use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools daily to accelerate your work.
- Automation fluency: you’ve built workflow automations using no-code platforms.
- Comfortable hiring remotely and globally.
- Closing a great candidate who was hard to find.
- Eliminating a manual process that was slowing everyone down.
- Figuring out what’s broken in the hiring funnel and fixing it before it compounds.
- Building infrastructure—automated workflows, evaluation frameworks, and processes that scale without adding headcount.
- Designing yourself out of the repetitive parts while keeping the high-judgment work.
- Run full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, operations, and go-to-market.
- Conduct screens, coordinate interviews, manage candidate experience, and close offers.
- Use AI and automation to streamline screening, scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Partner with hiring managers to calibrate on what “amazing” looks like for each role.
- Build evaluation frameworks and scorecards that help us assess talent consistently.
- Track metrics: time-to-hire, source quality, pass-through rates, offer acceptance.
- Optimise sourcing channels—figure out where our best hires come from and double down.
- Document what works so we can scale intelligently.
- Hire and train additional recruiting support as we grow.
Most recruiting functions collapse when startups scale. We’re building a hiring function that combines human judgment with AI acceleration—so we can scale without adding chaos. You’ll close great people, build systems that work, and shape what recruiting looks like when AI is part of the workflow.
Why Siena?- Meaningful impact. Your work directly shapes our product and company.

- Great salary plus the opportunity for equity or stock grants.
- Learning budget. If you’re growing, so are we.
- The thrill of building something new. Join us at a stage where your contributions matter most.
- AI-fluency. Make AI your second nature.
- Tackle unsolved problems. We’re redefining how customer experience will look like in the next decades.
The people who thrive here are curious, customer-obsessed, and take ownership without being asked. They fix problems first and explain later. They’re direct about feedback—both giving and receiving it—because they care more about getting things right than being polite. They maintain high standards while moving at startup speed, and they build real relationships with teammates because they know that’s how great work gets done. When things get tough, they adapt and keep pushing forward.
Our Approach to AIThe people who thrive here treat AI like a natural extension of themselves. They’ve built their own ecosystem of agents—some for research, others for debugging, writing, analysis, or code. They know which AI works best for what problem. Everyone gets premium accounts (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity Pro, Cursor, Lovable) plus a quarterly budget for new tools. But the magic happens in how we share knowledge. Demo days where someone shows off clever workflows. Slack threads about which model handles a specific use case better. Learning from each other’s AI workflows.
At Siena, we’re not just looking for people who can do a job. We’re looking for people who want to break boundaries, create the future, and reshape industries. If that’s you, we look forward to your application.
Siena provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
