Overview
Test Engineer – Power Systems at Siemens
Location: Rochester, UK. We are at the forefront of sophisticated metering and data acquisition solutions for the power industry. Our team develops and delivers complex network solutions, specialising in Dynamic System Monitoring, Power Quality, and Generator performance monitoring. This role is to join our Rochester team and take ownership of electrical and mechanical testing for our advanced metering solutions.
Please note: this role requires candidates to have current and permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to support visa applications for this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical panel testing and validation
- Manage test area operations and schedules
- Perform insulation resistance tests and secondary injections
- Coordinate witness acceptance tests
- Maintain EHS standards
- Support occasional on-site commissioning
- Drive quality control and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project objectives
