Overview
In this role you will strengthen quality across the supplier network and manufacturing operations, partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing.
You will lead investigations, enable effective corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve performance.
You’ll work hands-on with suppliers, audits, and data analysis to make quality visible and actionable.

Responsibilities
- Build constructive supplier relationships and drive quality improvements via reviews, metrics, and improvement plans
- Manage supplier non-conformances and coordinate sustainable corrective actions
- Review containment, root-cause analysis and corrective-action plans to address underlying issues
- Support supplier qualification, approval, performance monitoring, and change management
- Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve challenges and improve supplier quality
- Provide practical day-to-day quality support to manufacturing and shop-floor teams
- Lead containment and root-cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and CAPA
- Support concessions, deviations and non-conformance processes per procedures
- Plan, conduct and report supplier audits and contribute to internal audits and compliance
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions from audits and investigations
- Identify risk and improvement opportunities across supplier and internal processes
- Monitor quality indicators and analyse trends for recurring issues and risks
- Create reports and dashboards to visualise supplier and manufacturing quality performance
- Share findings and recommendations with management and cross-functional teams
- Support maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System
- Promote a positive culture of quality, compliance, learning and continuous improvement
- Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related discipline
- Experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or related roles
- Practical experience with root-cause investigations and corrective actions
- Experience working with suppliers and resolving supplier quality issues
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and quality management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate evidence into action
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing requirements
- Clear, collaborative communication across teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis/communication tools
