The Opportunity
Lead the evolution of grid software as a visionary and dynamic Senior Vice President of Product Lifecycle Management. Report directly to the CEO of Siemens Grid Software and spearhead the strategic direction and growth of our global grid software portfolio. Oversee a distributed team of 30+ product management professionals, driving the evolution of critical domains including grid planning, grid operations, and meter data management, and shaping new platform‑based business models. Shape our overarching portfolio strategy, develop our ecosystem of partners, and enable Transmission System Operators (TSO’s) and Distribution System Operators (DSO’s) to operate grids closer to their physical limits while navigating the complexities of the energy transition. Deliver outstanding customer proximity, exceptional user experience (UX), and groundbreaking innovation through interoperable SaaS solutions that empower customers with intelligent Co‑Pilots and revolutionize how they manage and optimize their energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Define, champion, and complete the global PLM strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market leadership aspirations.
- Portfolio P&L & Growth: Own the end‑to‑end product portfolio, driving aggressive growth targets, market share expansion, and profitability across grid planning, grid operations, and meter data management.
- Market & Customer Obsession: Cultivate deep customer proximity, translating market insights and user needs into compelling product roadmaps that deliver superior value and an unparalleled user experience (UX).
- Innovation & Digital Transformation: Lead the charge in integrating innovative technologies, including AI‑powered intelligent Co‑Pilots, advanced analytics, and interoperable SaaS architectures, to enhance product capabilities and drive digital transformation for our customers.
- Pioneering Business Models for Grid Software Platforms to enable Grid Ecosystems.
- Definition of a comprehensive portfolio of productized service offerings.
- Distributed Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high‑performing global team of product management experts, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ecosystem & Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and foster strategic partnerships and ecosystem collaborations that enhance our product offerings and market reach.

What You Bring
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Management or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) roles within a global software company, ideally at a VP or Senior Director level.
- Software & Utility Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of software product lifecycle management principles, coupled with significant experience in the utility domain, specifically grid software (grid planning, grid operations, meter data management).
- SaaS & AI Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing and scaling SaaS‑based products, with a clear understanding of AI/ML applications, intelligent automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strategic & Analytical Approach: Ability to define bold visions, translate them into actionable strategies, and drive execution with a data‑driven approach.
- Change Management: Proven track record in driving organizational and technological change while acting upon cultural changes needed to be ready for the future.
- Customer‑Centricity: A relentless focus on understanding customer challenges and delivering innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
- Global Team Builder: Strong track record of leading, inspiring, and developing diverse, high‑performing global teams.
