The role is home-based and will require regular travel to attend customer and internal meetings across the UK and Ireland, as well as occasional visits to Siemens’ overseas locations. We have an exciting management opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing team passionate about leading our business growth in the Industry, Infrastructure and Campuses (II&C) market sectors in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will direct a team of salespeople and be part of a collaborative sales community fully backed by a local and global group of industry innovators and experts.

As a key part of the Smart Infrastructure division, the EA business supports our clients in building, maintaining, and digitalising electrical power distribution networks of the future. We provide a wide range of power solutions, including Medium Voltage and Low Voltage switchgear, protection devices, substation and network automation/control solutions, as well as digital and lifecycle services.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Build, develop and deliver a market-specific sales and “Go to Market” plan.
  • Market analysis and target setting.
  • Lead, manage and encourage your sales team in crafting the right culture, motivation, results orientation and people growth mindset.
  • Lead your team to all become our customers’ “go-to” ambassador, driving customer centricity.
  • Use of data and digitalisation to aid good decision-making, innovate and reach our customers.
  • Maintain Salesforce based CRM systems to ensure a high standard of data accuracy for contacts, opportunities and forecasts.
  • Forecast ownership.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver sales initiatives.
  • Be an active member of the EA Sales Leadership Team, continually improving the business.

Have at least one of the following:

  • Senior Sales or Sales team leadership experience in a professional environment.

No specific qualifications are essential for this role. However, a Degree/HND or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering would be preferable.
