Siemens Manchester, United Kingdom — Regional Sales Manager – Fire (Northwest and Yorkshire). Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Buildings is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Cerberus fire detection systems covering the North West and Yorkshire. The role involves selling to and developing the partner network of trained fire system providers and suits either experienced sales professionals or engineers seeking a career change.
The Cerberus product offers high quality with features that bring real value to customers. The fire industry is evolving with greater product connectivity, system integration, and data collection, creating new business opportunities and enhanced customer experience and engagement. Siemens Buildings is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, offering the benefits of a global technology company.
Location: The business is happy for you to work from home as much as possible when not required on the road. Customer sites will cover the Midlands and the west.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales in the area by building strong relationships with existing and potential partner networks.
- Plan and implement sales activities to achieve defined commercial targets.
- Proactively approach key consultants and end users to generate pull business for the local partner network.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders to realise potential benefits.
- Provide sales support for partners including application support, training, presentations, and other customer visits to support partner sales development.
- Coordinate with other Siemens teams to identify further opportunities for Siemens and Siemens partners.
- Maintain Salesforce CRM for contacts, prospects, forecasts, and targets.
Requirements / Qualifications

- Sales experience in a professional environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the local fire market with understanding of standards such as BS5839-1.
- Extensive experience commissioning and servicing different fire detection systems with an interest in moving into a sales role.
