Overview
Regional Sales Manager – Northwest and Yorkshire
The Cerberus fire detection systems region covering the North West and Yorkshire. Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Buildings is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to sell to and develop our partner network of trained fire system providers. We’re searching for an energetic people person with great organisational skills and a desire to learn and grow. The position would suit either experienced sales professionals or engineers looking for a career change. The Cerberus product offers outstanding quality and several unique features that bring real value to our customers. The fire industry is undergoing rapid and transformational change with ever-increasing product connectivity, system integration, and data collection leading to new business opportunities and improved customer experience and engagement. Location: The business is happy for you to work from home as much as possible when you are not required to be on the road. Customer sites will be covering the Midlands and the west.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Develop sales in the area by building strong relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Plan and implement sales activities to achieve defined commercial targets.
- Pro-actively approach key consultants and end users to build pull business for the local partner network.
- Find opportunities and work with key stakeholders to ensure effective realisation of the potential identified.
- Provide sales support for the partners including application support, sales training, presentations, and other customer visits in support of partner sales development.
- Pro-actively co-ordinate with other Siemens team members to identify further opportunities for Siemens and Siemens partners.
- Maintain Salesforce based CRM for contacts, prospects, forecasts, and targets.

Experience and qualifications
- Have sales experience in a professional environment.
- Or demonstrable experience and extensive knowledge of the local fire market with a good understanding of the relevant standards e.g. BS5839-1
- Or a wide experience of commissioning and servicing different fire detection systems with a desire to move into a sales role.
