Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. We're hiring a dynamic and motivated professional to join the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Technical Product Management team to help shape our long-term strategy for user experience and automation.

Our team manages and communicates customer and market requirements, helping to shape product direction, and promote and educate the field on the latest product features and enhancements. Are you passionate about creating best-in-class solutions, able to facilitate collaboration across a wide range of organizational departments, understand and communicate market problems, and define product direction? As well as championing the product to internal and external stakeholders and communicating the benefits of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ in a range of different settings, you'll also be excited by working closely with development teams to shape new and innovative solutions to expand the scope of the software.

If you have an in-depth knowledge of user experience and automation and its usage to drive engineer innovation through simulations is required, as well as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) experience then we'd love to hear from you!

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Working closely with customer support, business development teams and customers to identify users’ and market requirements and to understand how user experience and automation can accelerate the users’ engineering innovation.
  • Collaborating with development teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver new features to maximize the impact and value for future production releases.
  • Reporting and championing the progress of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ upcoming releases to internal stakeholders and customers in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Building go-to-market materials to promote the benefits of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ internally and externally.

Your success is grounded in:

  • MSc or PhD in engineering or relevant discipline with proven industrial experience either using simulation or working in a software environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of industrial CFD and user experience.
  • Experience of Technical Product Management is an advantage.
  • Understanding of SaaS and Cloud technologies is an advantage.
  • CAD and other CAE software experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal, including the ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations to audiences possessing technically diverse skillsets and backgrounds.
  • Highly motivated and able to show initiative and accountability within a dynamic work environment.
  • A willingness to tackle new challenges independently and as part of a team.
  • An ability to find innovative approaches to problem solving and to show initiative in overcoming challenges.

The role is global, it requires the ability to travel internationally (20%) and to work with distributed teams.

Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is 53,600 to 91,100 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
