The Calibre Product Management Team in Cairo is currently seeking a Product Engineer (PE) to focus on Calibre Layout Vs. Schematic (LVS).
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support and deliver in-depth training to customers and Application Engineers (AEs).
- Foster product innovation through collaboration with software development teams, field engineers, and customers.
- Lead customer engagement by clearly communicating product value and benefits.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Define and prototype new tool capabilities.
- Translate customer feedback and market needs into clear product requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful feature development and implementation.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and training resources.
Qualifications:
Technical: Essential to have:
- BS./MS. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Technical: Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge in design and physical & circuit verification processes.
- Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tools usage and/or development.
- Prior knowledge in semiconductor process engineering or back-end EDA tool programming.
- Good programming skills (Tcl/Tk, Shell Scripting and/or Python, UNIX/Linux OS are necessary).
Soft skills: Essential to have:
- Strong team player.
- Presentable.
- Individuals with strong ability to learn and explore new technologies.
- Able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Able to set personal goals and work consistently towards them in a dynamic environment.
