We are looking for an Import and Export Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the administration of our Import and Export function. As the primary contact for all import and export inquiries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless international shipments. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to international trade processes.
You’ll make a difference by…
- Export Management
- Prepare all export paperwork, proforma invoices, and export declarations for issue to Siemens external logistics provider.
- Complete the Export ledger with export details.
- Liaise with Siemens external logistics provider to ensure process compliance.
- Import Management
- Prepare all import paperwork to enable customs clearance.
- Issue re-import clearance instructions to the agent.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding the import of goods as necessary.
- Complete the Import ledger with import details and ensure all customs paperwork is stored and retrievable for potential auditing purposes.
Your success will be grounded by…
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- High knowledge of SAP & Excel
- A sound knowledge of Import and Export processes (preferred)
- Knowledge of country specific customs requirement (preferred)
- Experience of dealing with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics companies (preferred)
- Driving license
