Internal Sales Executive
Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive within the vendor finance team, providing internal support for the Commercial Broker finance sales team and introducers across our sales channels.
The role is targeted with developing and supporting relationships with our current third-party introducers along with key Broker clients to maximise our leasing opportunities in line with the business targets and goals!
You will be responsible for managing transactions from proposal to payout along with each unit’s business pipeline.
You’ll create an impact by
- Managing SFS proposals, and final lease submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Developing and supporting SFS relationships with end users, third party introducers and Broker clients to maximise SFS leasing opportunities in line with business targets and goals (new Business Volume and profitability).
- Manage all opportunities from initial enquiry through to timely new business activation, including liaising with Asset management / Risk / Commercial teams if necessary.
- Liaise with account development managers and sources of new business to identify all business opportunities for SFS, and deal progression.
Supporting Sales meetings with Introducers, Suppliers, and end Customers.
- Pricing of new business opportunities using portfolio-based pricing approach.
- Ensuring sales support by liaising with the wider Vendor Finance sales team and other internal departments.
- Initial assessment of credit risk viability of opportunities
- Update on new business forecasting spreadsheets for submission to Head of Sales monthly.
- Pro-active contribution to wider company projects and schemes as required.
- Undertake regular reviews of competitor activity and market intelligence, providing reports / presentations of risks and opportunities, and capturing new trends.
Bring your existing expertise, including
- Internal sales experience with a proven and successful ability to manage a portfolio of clients, ideally in Financial Services and Leasing, is preferred
- Experience of selling different asset types in the Commercial Broker Asset Finance market and of working with high numbers of transactions through intermediaries would be advantageous
- Comprehensive understanding of Lease Products and pricing methodology is preferred.
- Experience of building and maintaining a strong relationship with customers over the phone and email
- Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and proactive.
- Credit Risk / Lending / Balance sheet assessment / knowledge preferred.
- A willingness to embrace change, contributing new and better ways of working to support our continual improvement culture.
