At Electrium, we're committed to shaping a sustainable future, and we're excited to be seeking a dedicated Environmental Advisor to join our dynamic Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Department. You'll make a difference by:

  • Being instrumental in ensuring robust environmental governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Leading and coordinating ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) certification activities.
  • Maintaining environmental and energy legal registers, conducting compliance evaluations, and providing evidence records (e.g., WEEE, Battery, Plastic, & Packaging).
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting environmental and energy performance data, KPIs, and trends to inform management reviews and strategic decision-making.
  • Driving initiatives for resource efficiency, waste minimisation, and pollution prevention.
  • Contributing significantly to our long-term sustainability objectives and carbon reduction strategies.

What we are looking for:

  • In-depth understanding of Environmental & Energy Management Systems (ISO 14001/ISO 50001).
  • Knowledge of UK and applicable international environmental and energy legislation.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and environmental performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and personal drive.
  • Desirable but not essential: Relevant qualifications such as a NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
  • Ability to write and develop 'Group, Local' procedures.
  • Awareness of waste management, resource efficiency, and circular economy principles.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as Power BI, Microsoft SWAY, Forms, and Lists.
