You will be instrumental in growing our customer base and driving revenue growth within the public sector. Brightly Software delivers outcome-driven solutions for our clients that impact employees of the local authorities as well as the residents the councils serve. Due to increased growth and expansion, we are seeking an individual with a true 'hunter' mindset to foster our market share within the sector.
Location: You can expect, in this hybrid role, 2-3 days a week visiting clients in the UK wide customer base. You will also be required to visit the Chatham office, once per quarter, with prior notice. We have a forward-thinking hybrid policy which allows you to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
You will create impact by:
- Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the assigned territory or vertical.
- Generating leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Conducting discovery calls, providing insight for demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborating with marketing and customer success teams to ensure flawless onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product developments.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated success in 'hunter-style', new business sales within a SaaS or technology environment, including experience working with the Public Sector (ideally Local Government) and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and clearly articulate business value through thoughtful, customer-focused storytelling.
- Well-developed sales approach, including experience in value-based selling, discovery, needs analysis, negotiation, and maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts.
- Organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities effectively, alongside a solid understanding of SaaS sales cycles, key metrics, and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and bonus scheme, plus car allowance.
- Hybrid Working: Achieve a healthy work-life balance with our flexible working arrangements.
- Pension Plan: Secure your future with our generous pension scheme, with employer contributions up to 10%.
- Time Off: Recharge and rejuvenate with 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days.
- Comprehensive training and development programmes.
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge SaaS solutions.
