As a Hardware Lead for HVDC Control & Protection Hardware, you are part of a dynamic team of HVDC project management and technical specialists. Together, you design and deliver comprehensive HVDC control and protection solutions for grid connections of wind farms and interconnectors. You report to the Sub-PM HVDC C&P and the CP organization, ensuring that technical work packages are delivered in line with project and business objectives.
Responsibilities:- Preparation of offers and project execution for hardware of control and protection systems (Control & Protection) for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems with respect to deadlines, costs, and quality.
- Technical leadership of the team for offer and order processing in the area of Control & Protection Hardware.
- Collaboration with project management and experts from various hardware engineering fields.
- Project planning and control of offer and order processing, including technical concept, scope of delivery, scheduling and resource planning, cost estimation, co-calculation, quality control, as well as management of opportunities and risks.
- Awarding of subcontracts, as well as reporting, information management, revision, order completion, and conducting process and design reviews.
- Successfully completed university degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience and sound knowledge in project management.
- Confident working in the areas of converter, high-voltage, and control technology, ideally with knowledge of HVDC technology and plant engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office and PM tools.
- Business-fluent communication in German and English.
- Intercultural experience and willingness to travel.
