Programme Structure Day release in person Whilst working towards a formal qualification you will also work as part of a team on real‑life projects within the workplace. Learning Experience Learning about railway signalling principles and requirements Designing new signalling circuits to control train movements safely Working in the project delivery team to oversee new infrastructure being commissioned Testing the signalling systems to ensure safety‑critical functionality Understanding available technology and determining the most suitable solution Seeing the project lifecycle from concept to completion Essential Skills and Attributes Candidates must have achieved or be on track to achieve a Level 3 Engineering Qualification. Alternatively, candidates must have achieved or be on track to achieve 3x A‑Levels in suitable subjects (such as maths take ownership of challenges and ideas and be ready to develop, drive, and lead change.
