Responsibilities

  • Wiring electrical assemblies and preparing cables following diagrams and customer specifications.
  • Uploading configurations, setting up test systems, and supporting testing of protection and control systems.
  • Working as part of the Testing and Wiring Team, collaborating with other departments such as project delivery and sales.
  • Learning to use engineering software, testing tools, and processes to help deliver solutions.
  • Assisting with factory and site testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Taking responsibility for small projects and helping improve how we work.

Qualifications

  • The achievement of at least 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including Maths and English Language.
  • Interest in electrical engineering and a hands-on approach to learning.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well with others and communicate clearly.
  • Organised and willing to take on new challenges.
