We are currently recruiting for a Commissioning & Warranty Technical Supervisor to join us in our brand-new rail manufacturing facility in Goole. Reporting to the Commissioning & Warranty Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Technicians to deliver project phases for all UK new Rolling Stock Introduction Programmes including Highspeed, Commuter Rail, Metro, Light Rail and Passenger Coaches.

You will make a difference by:

  • Supervising the team to deliver operational commissioning and ensure a smooth transition of a new fleet into our customer’s passenger service operation.
  • Monitoring train activities such as routine testing, static and dynamic testing and preparing test documentation with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Identifying any risks and opportunities of the project with focus on time, cost, and quality.
  • Working on maintenance activities, identifying and rectifying any faults and escalating to supplier or engineering teams if needed.
  • Managing, coaching and mentoring your team to develop skills and achieve best outcomes.
  • Being aware of health and safety at work, implementing controls and encouraging others to take accountability.
