Fire and Security Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer – FIRE & SECURITY

The successful candidate will either be in a commissioning and project execution role with the responsibility for helping deliver Life Safety Systems or looking to take the next step in their engineering career into a commissioning role. The role will require a flexible working attitude as late/ night shifts and travel are common, some weekends also required; this flexibility is well compensated with excellent OTE.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning and demonstrating of Medium – Large Integrated Life Safety Systems including Fire Alarm, PAVA, Graphics PCs, EVC, Disabled Toilet Alarms, CCTV & Access Control systems.
- Completion of clear & accurate work reports and commissioning certificates.
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients and maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Follow all Health & Safety requirements.
- Sound problem solving skills and analytical thinking. Ability to travel.
- Working closely with our existing team of expert engineers.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the Fire & Security industries.
- Experience in the delivery of complex fire, life safety systems, CCTV & Access control Systems on new/existing sites.
- A solid understanding of a variety of manufacturer\’s equipment, products and systems.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with good people management skills.
- A full clean driver\’s license.
- A good knowledge of networking and IT skills.
- Good communication skills, outgoing & customer orientated.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Siemens Fire & Security Systems.
- Fire & Security regulations (BS5839-1).
- Experience of working in a construction & Working Office environment’s.
- MS Office experience (Excel/Word etc.).
- Working knowledge of PC’s & IP networking (training provided).
