Your CV will still need to be attached but it will not be seen by a hiring manager until the selection process has been completed. What would my working day be like? You are encouraged to be in the office most of the time, as we believe this dynamic environment is the best place to learn, network and have fun whilst being an early careers professional. Here’s a taste of what your programme looks like: As a Finance and Commercial Academy Student, you’re not just stepping into a programme; you’re stepping into the heart of our company, where your journey begins with real-world work experience right from day one. This immersive opportunity extends beyond building your financial and commercial skills; it’s the chance to gain invaluable knowledge and open doors to a world of innovation. You’ll be part of a vibrant community of like-minded individuals, all driven by a shared passion for finance and commerce. Together, you’ll navigate through the complexities of the business world, gaining insights, honing your skills, and forging connections that will last a lifetime. Embark on three 12-month placements within various UK-based offices, the locations of which will be decided by S iemens however we will ensure you are supported with a £ 2500 relocation allowance each time you required to move. But that’s not all, you will also gain a professional accounting qualification and with every level successfully passed you will receive a salary increase of £ 1500-£3000 (depending on level) complementing your practical work experiences. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be primed for an exciting career at Siemens. Each placement and business area varies but your daily duties can include but are not limited to : Extracting and analysing financial data for the sales and management team. Getting involved in lots of projects outside of the department e.g., IT projects. Submitting journals for general accounting transactions. Supporting with internal risk and control activities. What qualifications do I need to apply? 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including Mathematics and English Language. 3 A-levels (or BTEC /T-Level equivalent) at grade C or higher. Keen curiosity about Finance, Business, and/or Mathematics. Additionally, you must have the Right To Work in the UK without the need for any visa sponsorship (now or in the future) and you must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years. What is in it for me?
