We’re searching for a top-tier professional to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist who will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and business. This role focuses on providing a professional, consistent and effective employee relations advice to employees and line managers. Ensuring delivery against a defined set of service levels and to act as an ER expert within Siemens Mobility, supporting customers and colleagues with policy, employment law and complex employee relations issues. The role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract until the end of May and will be based within our Poole office where you will be surrounded by the support of our Siemens Mobility People & Organisation (P&O) function. Office days will be 2-3 per week with the flexibility to work at home for the remaining time.
You’ll make a difference by
- Coaching and advising managers to enhance their Employee Relations (ER) capability and identifying potential risks.
- Leading the ACAS early conciliation process and managing Employment Tribunal claims from start to resolution.
- Conducting job evaluations and benchmarking at individual and project levels, supporting HRBPs on key initiatives like M&A, TUPE, and restructures.
- Monitoring trends in ER cases and recommending improvements to enhance service efficiency.
- Ensuring accurate case management records, analysing data, and providing tailored solutions to HRBPs and customers.
- Building strong partnerships with HRBPs and business leaders to deliver effective ER support.
- Collaborating within the Mobility Operations team to foster a partnership-driven approach.
- Staying up to date with employment legislation and HR best practices, sharing knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Your success will be grounded by
- Proven experience in an HR generalist, specialist, or related HR role.
- CIPD qualified.
- Strong knowledge of current and future employment legislation, including TUPE implications.
- Proficiency in SAP HR systems.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong project management skills to support HR initiatives effectively.
- Experience providing ER advice and guidance to managers on complex and high-risk cases.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR policies.
- Shared service experience would be advantageous.
