- Ensuring a smooth and informed handover to Delivery, maintaining bid budget accuracy, upholding company processes and quality standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of bid management practices.
Your success will be grounded by:

- Strong understanding of railway technology and/or electrification delivery, enabling you to influence, challenge and align inputs across engineering, finance, planning, delivery and commercial teams.
- Proven ability to navigate corporate governance, managing parallel approval workstreams and ensuring compliant, well‑structured bids.

- Excellent communication, organisation and high‑pressure delivery skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) and familiarity with AI tools.
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant business or technical discipline.
It would also be beneficial to:
- Be certified/qualified in IEE, MIRSE or APMP.
- Previously, or currently, occupy the position of Bid Manager, Project Manager, or Commercial Manager in an engineering project‑based business.
