You’ll make an impact by:

  • Financial and contractual management during the realization of the projects.
  • During the quotation phase, contribute to the preparation of an estimate and the quotation.
  • As part of a team, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
  • Coordinating supporting processes (insurance, credit check, taxes).
  • Supporting the Risk & Claim strategy.
  • Displaying correct and timely management information in order to make timely adjustments.
  • Preparing Forecast/budget information with regard to the projects.
  • Calculating, negotiating and supervising changes.
  • Conduct and take part in regular project reviews – and be able to contribute on key commercial topics, e.g., actual vs forecast on key financial KPIs including overall outlook on revenue, EBIT, cash flow etc.

In this role, you will also be collaborating with world commercial project managers of our centralized Data Center organization in Germany and Netherlands.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a FINANCE related field
  • 9 to 13 years of experience working in a project-based business in a controlling or project finance related position
  • General knowledge and understanding of project controlling, accounting / finance, contract & subcontract management, and supply chain management.
  • Experience working on project/product teams supporting multiple projects and project managers and/or line managers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally between departments.
  • Analytical and detailed oriented; ability to systematically work through complex topics.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proactive and results oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize dynamic work activities.
  • SAP and SAP Business Warehouse MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - with advanced Excel skills.
