Tessent is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic C++ R&D Software Engineer to strengthen our software and hardware research and development team. You will be working in an international team with fellow development engineers, as well as quality assurance, customer support, documentation, and product marketing engineers.

Together we continuously strive to develop innovative products using the latest tools and technologies across different areas including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will have the opportunity to responsibly lead projects that add significant new functionality and value to the products and further improve your personal and professional skills and knowledge.

Locations

Primary location: Germany. The position can be full‑time remote, or hybrid / in‑office at any of our locations in Canada (EST timezone only), Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, or the United States (EST timezone only).

Required experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong C++ skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Resume submitted in English

Additional experiences of advantage include

  • Expertise in IEEE 1687
  • Expertise in at least one scripting language
  • Knowledge of IEEE 1149.1, 1500, 1838
  • Knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
  • Knowledge of formal solving methods
  • Knowledge of graph algorithms
