Overview
In this role you drive growth of Siemens’ Medium Voltage portfolio across Newcastle and the NSW region, focusing on acquiring new business while expanding strategic accounts. You will build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders, manage a robust sales pipeline, and shape 3–5 year growth plans to strengthen Siemens’ market presence. You will collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions, lead negotiations, and represent Siemens at events. Responsibilities
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, consultants, EPCs and contractors
- Identify and pursue opportunities across Renewables, Water, Data Centres, Transportation and Resources
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline from engagement to conversion
- Develop and execute 3–5 year strategic growth plans for the territory
- Understand customer needs and tailor Siemens MV solutions
- Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate with internal teams to deliver outcomes
- Be a trusted contact for key customers and address challenges proactively
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the infrastructure and industrial ecosystem
- Represent Siemens at industry events and conduct client meetings to drive solution adoption
- Provide market intelligence and updates on opportunities and competition to senior leadership
Key requirements
- 5+ years of local sales experience in Medium Voltage, electrical infrastructure or related industrial sector
- Strong understanding of NSW industrial and infrastructure market
- Experience with renewables, water, data centres, resources or major projects preferred
- Proven success in business development, new customer acquisition and account management
- Strong relationship-building skills for long-term partnerships
- Experience with contract, commercial and tendering processes
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Understanding of Australian Standards and statutory electrical industry requirements
