The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- You will have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including Maths and English Language.
- It is preferred that you do not have a Level 2 PEO (Performing Engineering Operations).
- You must NOT have completed the following in order to apply to this role: Level 3 Engineering Diploma (BTEC) or Level 3 AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering).
- Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Siemens Mobility is a division of Siemens. Siemens Mobility has four core business units: Mobility Management, Railway Electrification, Rolling Stock, and Customer Services. In Rail, we enable operators to shape today’s and tomorrow’s passenger and freight transportation with trains, infrastructure, automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems as well as related services.
Programme structure:
- The programme follows the apprenticeship standard ST0318 Rail Engineering Technician, Traction and Rolling Stock Pathway.
- The programme structure will be: Day release at college.
- Whilst working towards a formal qualification you will also work as part of a team on real life projects within the workplace.
We will create a personalised training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your programme, you will be equipped with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career here at Siemens Mobility.
