Apply now for the position of Maintenance Technician (12‑month Fixed Term Contract). This full‑time role works Monday‑Friday with rotating shifts of 06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our IMMULITE manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency, enabling reliable production of diagnostic solutions that directly impact patient care and the success of our mission.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using proper troubleshooting techniques and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production teams and the maintenance systems coordinator to prioritize tasks and address equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Document all maintenance activities in line with GDP guidelines and through the CMMS system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring problems and suggesting or implementing solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with EHS procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3/ONC in Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering.
- Time‑served apprenticeship.
- Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical plant equipment, particularly packaging and process equipment.
- Experience maintaining electrical control panels, including AC inverters and PLC control systems.
- Experience with pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Experience working within an ISO quality system regulated environment and an understanding of GMP (advantageous).
