We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Customer Services Rail Infrastructure (CS RI) VEMS team. Working on various Siemens sites about 70% of the time, you will be planning and coordinating maintenance, calibration, validation and installation activities across the UK, while supporting colleagues, managing site safety and ensuring the right people, tools and information are in place to get the job done.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, supervise and perform maintenance, installation, calibration and validation activities across customer sites throughout the UK.
- Ensure the highest standards of site safety by developing, reviewing and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensuring compliance at all times.
- Lead preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability, performance and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, maintain schedules and communicate updates on milestones, risks and key site activities.
- Identify, investigate and resolve operational issues through effective root-cause analysis and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Support, guide and motivate site teams, ensuring work is completed efficiently, documentation is accurate and colleagues have the practical support they need to succeed.
Qualifications
- Experience in a site-based service, maintenance, installation or engineering environment, ideally with responsibility for supervising activities and supporting colleagues on site.
- Strong understanding of railway site safety, safe systems of work and experience creating, reviewing or working with RAMS.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple site activities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse information, identify priorities and collaborate with others to resolve issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by strong IT proficiency including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel extensively to customer sites across the UK.
