As our DevOps and Security Engineer you will maintain and enhance our cloud-based infrastructure. This is a multifaceted role that combines DevOps, AWS-based deployment, and IT Security. You will manage deployed DevOps systems in the cloud and will spearhead our ISO 27001 effort whilst maintaining compliance with corporate security requirements.
If you are a leader in your field (within IT Infrastructure or Software Development), a team member who makes important product decisions regarding direction and scope, and would be comfortable acting as the single point for engineering within M‑Star then we would love to hear from you!
- Maintaining and operating the software build server and continuous integration pipelines for cross-platform desktop and HPC applications.
- Managing release processes and versioned software distribution.
- Maintaining AWS-based software distribution and business operations systems.
- Leading IT security related efforts such as ISO 27001 and corporate security implementations.
- Manage and configure AWS services, including; EC2, RDS, S3, ECR, IAM, WAF, CloudFront, CloudTrail, Security Lake.
- Ensuring security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Supporting operational tooling across AWS and other cloud providers.
- Administrator for a diverse set of services (Office, AWS, GitHub, Mailchimp, etc).

- AWS Infrastructure expertise.
- C++ and Python development background.
- Advanced CI/CD, build systems skills.
- Knowledge of IT Security best practices, ISO 27001 requirements.
