Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join our busy engineering team. The successful candidate will be confident programming and setting CNC milling machines and able to work independently from engineering drawings.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in CNC programming and setting.
- Strong experience with Siemens ShopMill programming.
- Ability to write CNC programs from scratch, working from engineering drawings with minimal input from others.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and accurately check your own work to ensure components meet drawing requirements.
- Experience setting up jobs for machine operators to run independently is essential.
- A good understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting conditions.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of quality.
Desirable:
- Experience with Fusion 360 for offline programming.

- 40 hour week - Mon to Thurs 7.30 - 16.30 (or 8.00 - 17.00) / Fri 7.30 - 13.30 (or 8.00 - 14.00)
