Responsibilities

  • Champion operational excellence by implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Develop and execute a cutting-edge continuous improvement strategy aligned with Rolling Stock Customer Service goals.
  • Lead and develop a team of continuous improvement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Drive transformative continuous improvement initiatives to successful completion.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and communicate progress to senior management with impactful updates.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance continuous improvement skills.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Nurture a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills required

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in continuous improvement within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Proven success in leading change within complex organizations.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a Rolling Stock environment is advantageous.
