About the Role

Are you looking for a great opportunity to further your career? Siemens EDA (formerly Mentor Graphics) is seeking a high-energy, results-driven, knowledgeable and experienced Solution Architect to join our Consulting Services organization. As Solution Architect you will be responsible for successful execution of large-scale technically-diverse projects. This role involves leading our services teams to provide complex and cohesive solutions for our end-customers. The successful applicant must be based in Europe and free to travel within Europe. This is a hybrid position with a mix of onsite and remote working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of frontend design and verification, plus an understanding of emulation, DFT, backend implementation and P&R solutions
  • Oversee all aspects of the project from initial scoping through to final delivery
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders of the project
  • Manage a team of multi-disciplined personnel including Technical Leads and Project Managers
  • Partner with Account teams and Services teams to drive and deliver a successful engagement
  • Understand and document customer objectives and requirements
  • Work with assigned Technical Leads to scope project effort and capture project proposals

Required skills and experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing electronic design projects
  • A good understanding of RISC-V, RISC-V extensions and/or Arm processors is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with SoC architectures, Chiplet design and SiP solutions
  • Knowledge of HPCs and Hyperscalers would be advantageous
  • Understanding of skills and processes required to manage Services projects
  • Excellent customer focus, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent telephone and electronic communications skills
  • Customer-facing and services-orientated background
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality projects on-time with the highest levels of customer satisfaction
