  • Provide technical and project leadership to support successful delivery of consulting engagements, offering credible insights and practical solutions to sophisticated software and data challenges
  • Lead and deliver consulting engagements related to power system modelling and analysis, including system dynamics and transients, system interconnection and grid code compliance.
  • Work with customers to assess their business requirements and application objectives, and propose tailored solutions that address their specific challenges, especially the use of standard power systems analysis software and bespoke customisations.
  • Expertly use power systems software (e.g. PSSE, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory) to deliver high-quality modelling and analysis aligned with customer objectives.
  • Develop innovative and robust software solutions primarily using Python, with possible use of FORTRAN, including custom user-written dynamic models, automation scripts for power systems studies and post-processing of results, and complex decision support tools for operational planning.
  • Develop mathematical models to assess performance, stability and resilience of electrical networks and power system equipment.
  • Automate and script processes using power system analysis tools (including PSSE and PSSSINCAL) to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce errors and enhance analysis efficiency.
  • Deliver on-site technical consulting and training services, and provide Grid Simulation software technical support to customers.
  • Ensure the technical quality of power systems project delivery by reviewing consultancy outputs for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with best practices and client expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and standards, while actively sharing knowledge and learning from colleagues.
  • Manage and support project execution by supervising progress and agreeing timely adjustments to maintain scope, schedule, budget and quality.
