Position Location: This role supports our Plymouth, MI branch location, serving customers throughout the greater Detroit, MI area. Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team responsible for service work for building automation, fire, life safety, sprinkler, and security systems.
- Coordinate all activities for service agreements, service migration, installed projects, and ensure quality assurance activities such as sales‑to‑service and projects‑to‑service turnover, final project walkthroughs, service agreement scope reviews, and final information turnover to inspection teams.
- Support contract profitability through cost containment procedures and processes, ensuring contract requirements are met and performed to a high standard.
- Develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring effective communication and determining technical labor loading for proper resource coverage.
- Champion safety compliance by ensuring employees meet or exceed organization and customer safety requirements, providing training, and enforcing adherence to organizational processes, tools, and workflow standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree from a two‑year college or technical school.
- Up to 8 years of experience supervising teams.
- Industry experience with strategic planning, contracting, project management, account management, and all aspects of general business management.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and ability to apply cost control measures.
- Familiarity or experience with HVAC, Building Automation, or Fire Alarm Systems.
- Ability to obtain NICET Level II Fire Alarm certification within 12 months.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and limited violations; eligible for Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience supervising teams.
Pay range: $151,800 – $260,300 annually with an annual incentive target of 20% of base salary.
