Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

About the Role
We are building a high-performance finance function in a global software business. As a Finance Intern, you will work alongside experienced finance leaders supporting planning, forecasting, deal analysis, and operational transformation initiatives. This is not a passive shadowing role. You will work on live datasets, real business problems, and executive-level outputs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with rolling forecast updates (ARR, revenue, bookings, margin).
- Prepare variance analysis for monthly business reviews.
- Support Sales Finance with deal profitability analysis.
- Analyse discounting trends, renewal performance, and expansion metrics.
- Assist in ensuring data quality between CRM, ERP, and reporting tools.
- Contribute to compliance reviews aligned to IFRS15 principles (supervised).
- Clean, reconcile, and validate financial and operational datasets.
- Document reporting logic and process flows.
- Map current processes and identify inefficiencies.
- Assist in testing system enhancements and documenting requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Excel modelling skills (pivot tables, lookups, logical functions).
- Basic financial literacy (P&L, revenue recognition concepts, cash flow).
- Exposure to accounting, finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or similar analytical discipline.
- Familiarity with data tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc) is advantageous.
- Structured, analytical thinking, high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity about how software businesses scale.
What You Will Gain

- Understanding of revenue recognition frameworks (e.g., IFRS15).
