You’ll create impact by:
- Working within the Advanta TECH GB&I organisation, collaborating with customers and delivery teams to design and deliver complex IoT, Digital Twin, Smart Grid and Metering solutions.
- Engaging from presales through to delivery, shaping and overseeing end-to-end solution architecture that is technically robust and commercially viable.
- Responsibilities include requirement gathering, solution design, architecture and roadmap creation, effort estimation, governance, due diligence, product evaluation, presentations, consultancy, demos, mentoring and cross-team collaboration.
- Partnering with sales, delivery, engineering and product teams, as well as customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to drive successful solution outcomes.
You’re excited to build upon your existing expertise, including:
- Broad experience across all IS fields, with wide exposure to large scale sophisticated turnkey projects including practical and specific technical knowledge in driving solution architecture, functional and non-functional requirements, data migration, and system integration.
- Significant experience in delivering complex enterprise and operational technology solutions within GB&I regulated utility and energy infrastructure markets including electricity, gas, water and renewable energy sectors, with exposure to Smart-Grid (MV-LV) Software Solutions, Head ends, Meter Data Management MDM, SCADA, OMS, GIS, ASM and WFM systems.
- Exposure to specific Meter Data Management Products, such as Siemens GridScale X MDM or equivalent MDM solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with Cloud Service Platforms, Middleware, Databases Solutions, IoT platforms, AI/ML solutions and COTS/be-spoke software development.
- Significant solution, architecture, deployment experience, confirmed technical management and have used structured solution / enterprise open architecture and agile methodologies and frameworks for deliverables.
You are proficient in English. Any additional language is a plus.
