About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Finance Senior Business Partner to support our Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Sales organization. This role operates at a

Senior Individual Contributor level

, reporting to the Region CFO and plays a critical role in partnering with sales leadership to drive revenue performance, deal execution, and financial governance across Saa S, and Subscription, software business.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the Sales team, providing financial insights, supporting deal structuring, and ensuring compliance across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering & Commercial Support – Partner closely with ANZ Sales leadership to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Advise on deal structuring, pricing, and contract terms to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance.
  • Support new business, renewals, and expansion (LAER) motions.
  • Participate in deal reviews and approval processes, ensuring alignment with policies and financial objectives.
  • Forecasting, Planning & Reporting – Own and manage the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for ANZ revenue (Saa S, Subscription, Maintenance & Renewals) and costs.
  • Deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Provide variance analysis, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with zone and global finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Deal Execution & Governance – Support the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process, including approvals, revenue validation, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (IFRS15 / ASC606) and internal policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Order Management.
  • Manage order approvals, revenue adjustments, and alignment journals.
  • Month-End Close & Financial Controls – Lead or support month-end close activities.
  • Provide financial commentary and insights to finance leadership.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
  • Manage legal entity financial governance topics.
  • Process Improvement & Enablement – Identify and implement process improvements to optimize deal flow and reporting efficiency.
  • Support adoption of tools and systems (e. g., SAP, CRM, CPQ) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to sales enablement initiatives, including best practices and standard methodologies.
  • What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner supporting sales organizations, ideally in the Software/ Technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition (IFRS15 / ASC606) and software business models.
  • Experience in Quote-to-Cash processes, deal support, and sales finance operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point; experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Business Objects is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence sales leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills across finance, legal, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e. g., CPA, CA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Experience supporting regional (ANZ or APAC) and Software/Technology Industries.
  • Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Siemens hybrid working environment with mix of normal office environment and working from home. Minimal travel possible.
