Location & Language Requirements: This role can be based anywhere across EMEA. Applicants must be fluent in English, reside within reasonable proximity to an international transport hub, and demonstrate the technical skills and experience required to effectively fulfil the role. Occasional travel may be required.

Your role:

  • Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for serviceability and operational reliability capabilities within our complex healthcare software platforms, ensuring alignment with security requirements, clinical operational needs, regulatory compliance, and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead stakeholder conversations and collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, QA, and Product teams to gather needs, translate operational challenges into clear product requirements, epics, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Drive requirements clarity and system definition, partnering with architects and engineering leads to shape secure credential management, online backup solutions, monitoring and observability architectures, data flows, and integration strategies.
  • Champion the integration of serviceability features—such as credential management (secrets, API keys, certificates, rotation policies), reliable online backups, and comprehensive monitoring/alerting—into the core product architecture and development lifecycle.
  • Own cross-functional communication and alignment, coordinating with other product owners and technical teams while managing expectations, articulating trade-offs, risks, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders including executives, engineering, and operational teams.
  • Automate and prioritize operational improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and enable proactive issue detection, using data and insights to drive measurable improvements in system reliability and service maturity.
  • Engage in the complete software product lifecycle from concept to delivery and ongoing maintenance of serviceability capabilities. Quality and operational excellence are a team effort.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Strong experience shaping platform-level serviceability and operations capabilities, with the ability to translate complex operational needs into product strategy and technical decisions.
  • Comfort working with technical concepts in credential management, backups, monitoring, and observability while effectively facilitating discussions and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Deep familiarity with modern tools and frameworks for secrets management, backup/recovery, and observability stacks, enabling more impactful product shaping in regulated environments.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, bringing clarity and alignment to operational initiatives across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging automation and observability to accelerate product reliability and operational excellence.

Your expertise:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent experience with advanced applied work in complex software systems.
  • Strong technical background and hands-on understanding of serviceability and operations technologies, including credential/secrets management solutions, backup and recovery systems, and monitoring/observability platforms.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and DevOps teams on platform capabilities that enhance security, reliability, and operational simplicity in cloud and distributed environments.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, automation practices, and cloud platforms, with the ability to translate technical constraints and opportunities into clear product decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, facilitate alignment, simplify complex operational topics, and drive end-to-end ownership of product enhancements that improve service reliability.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and outcome-driven, with a strategic mindset and strong focus on delivery and continuous operational maturity.
