About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic Quality team at our Magnet Technology site in Oxfordshire. This position plays a pivotal role in strengthening both internal and supplier‑related quality processes, driving continuous improvement, and championing high standards across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Auditing & Compliance: Lead and support internal audits and supplier audits against ISO 9001, ensuring adherence to standards and identifying meaningful improvement opportunities. Define audit scope based on organisational needs, raising visibility of risks and improvement areas. Provide clear, actionable feedback and agree improvement actions with owners and deadlines. Track, report, and drive closure of corrective actions to support ongoing excellence.
- Non‑Conformance & CAPA Management: Coordinate internal and supplier non‑conformance processes, ensuring accuracy, timely completion and full documentation compliance. Monitor KPIs, analyse trends and elevate systemic issues through the CAPA process. Act as Quality Coach for CAPA activities, guiding teams to identify root causes and achieve effective, sustainable solutions. Support development and execution of internal and supplier Quality Improvement Plans.
- Data‑Driven Quality Performance: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Proactively recommend corrective or preventative actions that strengthen process robustness. Present summarised insights to cross‑functional teams, enabling informed decision‑making. Ensure scorecards, dashboards, and quality KPIs are maintained, accurate, and visible.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Coaches, Supplier Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, SCM, and Engineering peers. Build strong, positive working relationships and provide supportive, balanced challenge when needed. Promote a culture where quality, continuous improvement, and forward‑thinking solutions are valued and embedded.

Travel is minimal, with the focus primarily on internal quality support and data‑driven activities rather than frequent supplier site visits. The environment is fast‑paced, dynamic, and target‑driven, requiring resilience and thoughtful prioritisation.
