As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key part of the team supporting, designing and implementing our core IT infrastructure across both our existing factory in Eynsham and our brand new, stateâofâtheâart facility in Bicester.
Project Delivery- Identify and implement opportunities for improving our IT systems.
- Work independently and as part of the wider team to define, develop and deliver complex projects.
- Maintain and improve the security of our information systems.
- Identify the root cause of issues and advise on suitable solutions or resolve as required.
- Work with the Service Desk team on escalated issues to provide technical support and knowledge transfer.
- Experience with Windows Desktop and Server environments (OnâPremise and Cloud Hosted).
- Knowledge of HighâPerformance Computing.
- Networking skills: LAN (VLANs), WAN (SDâWAN), WiâFi, and firewalls.
- Infrastructure and server monitoring.
- Strong understanding of information and cyber security best practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL and project management principles.
- Ability to automate tasks using scripting.
